well that depends on who you ask:
In 1971, created by Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney, was the first commercially sold, coin-operated video game.
but before they did it , there was other's who did video game simulation type of game's on govt, university computing stations
was created @ MIT in 1961
and Before that
Tennis for Two that was in 1958!
Nintendo was set to distribut rights to the magnavox Odyssey in japan in 1974
