I was thinking what the best way to make a massive 4K display is and I realized that projectors are totally the way to go. You can get a good 1080p projector for 700-800 bucks. You grab 4 of them and set them up in 2 X 2.
The moment they have LED bulb based 1080p projectors available for under 1000 bucks, I am building a 4K 110 foot screen setup with 4 of them.
