Author really needs to learn to break things into paragraph. I just god wall-o-texted.
So, I just watched a video of Crysis 3 running side by side on X-Box 360 and PC at max settings. Was there a difference in graphics? Yeah, absolutely. A clearly noticeable one. Suppose someone offered me a console that could play the PC version for 400 dollars. Would I buy it? Absolutely not. The boost in graphics is simply not worthwhile enough for me. Maybe others feel differently. And that's also how I felt watching the Sony conference. Did Killzone look great? Yeah. Great enough to make me buy a new console?
No. Beyond all the technical blah blah blah, you have to look at what we actually saw. I don't play specs, I don't play tech demos, and I don't play potential. To be excited about a system, I have to be excited about what games I'll be playing on it. What games were shown that were really exciting? To me, nothing really.
