Some people seem so desperate to see the PS3 out of last place, but a lot of the sales of PS3 systems have been by people who use them almost exclusively for Blu Ray movies.  So if the PS3 does in the end outsell the Xbox 360, what does it really matter?  Almost all multi-platform games have sold better on the 360 and Sony's own PS3 games of late have not sold well at all.  As for me, I really don't care how many systems and one of them sell, as long as they are able to continue making great games.

I don't know a single PS3 owner who bought it as only a Blu-ray player.  They both sell on multi-media functionality and that's all bluray is.  Also PS3 has a good attach rate and it's advertising that keeps those exclusives from selling for the most part methinks.
