I agree about power. In fact, despite as a gamer I get excited on high specs, I get kind of worried about Sony pushing it so much, for example. Perhaps a cheaper console would make them more successful but they are always set on power. I support Sony but really I think they go overboard on power (ie. Vita, PS3).

What I mean by power is at least closer to parity. Nintendo's first party + full third party support + a mainstream/'normal'/'not gimmicky' console (like the PS4's super straightforward hardware) would be unstoppable. Why Nintendo try to go this? I really don't get it.

Well, Nintendo did an okay job with figuring out how the Wii U's graphics should work out, in my opinion. The Wii U (using X as an example) can pump out some great looking games, still. The graphics for it are perfectly fine. (Despite what some people would say.)
