See? That right there is the issue. It is not found everywhere. In fact, it is only found in few forums on the internet. This is why I said such humour only gets people segregated in school, uni, and especially the work place. I'm not trying to have a personal jab at you, I'm just pointing out the consequences and reality of it. The few guys I know who like such things are all either unemployed or stack shelves at supermarkets.

Your group of peers must be pretty technology illerate then. Sites like 9gag and reddit get millions upon millions of visits each day and the material found there is posted to social media. I've seen my mother post a meme (it was just a funny edited picture to her), and she's a traditional Southern housewife. Go visit some popular sports sites (SB nation, Unite, etc) and they have series and columns dedicated to their same time of humor (farks are they call them).

No, we just have something called a job and don't spend all day browsing spammy websites. Then when we do have spare time, we use it to do these things called hobbies and meeting people. I am one of the only ones who uses forums, and as you can see, not very often.

Back-handed jab at post count. I sadly haven't been very active on VGC since I graduated from college and started working. Only time I can ever spend much time on is slow times at work (IT Manager overseeing 100 employees computers, copiers, networking, etc. across 15 locations). Funnily enough, this little conversation is probably the most I've spent here in months.

It's elitism at it's finest , It smacks of I must be the arbiter of all things , if i don't find something funny then everybody who does or perpetuates this type of behavior is unemployable or fit for menial work at best , if you don't like it the options are , wait it will pass these things tend to be done for a specific reason like the Ps4 announcement another option is to move on .
