heck, blog postes or neogaf forum posts are shared quite frequently on VGC. An article by a trusted site like CVG isn't nearly as bad.

But you're right. Misleading information from a reputable source isn't as bad as misleading information from a forum post; it's worse. If a reputable source is giving misinformation, then people will be much more likely to trust them and be mislead. Whereas with a forum post we know its just a forum post.
