Question doesn't really apply. My potential purchase of a Wii U is independent of the price of Sony's and Nintendo's online. I think the same would go for most people.
And it's not that I'm settling for superior specs over free online. There's several factors that the PS4 and Nextbox will provide that we can be sure the Wii U cannot provide. I'm not sure why you chose only superior specs as that's one of the least important reasons for many.
