I think the guests are more likely to leave for a while if the site goes down. And I was having problems getting on earlier, saying "site not found," must likely when ioi was moving over to the new servers. They probably are deciding not to come back right away, unlike the members who just keep hitting refresh until the site came back on.
It surprises me that we have NO guests... but having negative guests?
