Consciousness of bias reduces the likelyhood of expressing excessive fanboyism and flamebait, because the person has learned to make a distinction between constructive criticism and "hate speech" towards their system of choice. You see this in effect pretty much every day on these forums. Heavily biased people who wrongfully believe that they are actually quite levelheaded perceive any kind of negativity towards their system of choice as an unjustified attack. In extreme cases, even the refusal of praise (i.e. neutrality) can be perceived as hate.

Sales2099 isn't one of these people. How you fail to see it is beyond me. Agree to disagree I guess.
