I would argue to stop looking at the Square Enix house and look...pretty much anywhere else. Stuff like Ni no Kuni, the recent Tales etc. have been getting decent to good reviews, if we are talking blockbuster, lets kill that dream right now, outside of mabye DQ no JRPG series have ever had the pedigree of the FF games, thats not going to change just cause they started sucking, especially in this day and age.
