I'm not worried about RRoD. MS lost millions trying to do damage control and repaired a ton of consoles for free. Up to three times on my end. They did the right thing by expanding the warranty so no real hard feelings there. Besides, you honestly believe the same mistake will happen again? That's a bit naive  to be honest.

XBLA and Indie games has been great for me, tons of great games that wouldn't even be looked at on retail. So much good stuff. Plus it helps that I've actually enjoyed kinect games. A game like Haunt is just plenty of fun due to the physical interaction for me. I just enjoy the action of using my entire body. Don't want it as a standard or anything either, but I'm glad it exists. Really when it comes to games, I only buy 2-3 new games a year. Otherwise it's all budget gaming for me. Don't care about the lack of retail exclusives because there's no way I'd be able to buy them all or even have the time to play them all.

Overall, I'm gonna wait and see. MS still have my favorite franchise, Halo, and I don't play multiplayer nearly enough to consider that a major feature on my end. No way am I gonna just base hundreds of dollars out of some admiration toward a company. If Sony comes up with something that really interests me, I might go that way, but they really haven't enticed me this gen to buy a PS3. No big deal, different strokes for different folks. I also don't care about exclusivity all that much. Once I buy a console, it's a one and done deal. So it essentially becomes a exclusive to me either way. Besides, there are still tons of game

Besides, I still have a ridiculous amount of backlog that I need to work on. Still loads of games I've yet to buy too. I'm probably just gonna wait an entire year and not care about nexgen stuff. Hell, there's still probably gonna be 360 stuff getting released. 2013 is gonna be one of my best catch up years.
