People complain about XBLG and say PSN has everything that XBLG has. But if you want to play Halo 4 then you need XBLG. Apparently nobody is alowed to say this if they don't LOVE PS+ and do this |
You're conflating exclusive games with the services/functions LIVE, PSN, Steam, etc give.
People are saying that functions that you get for free on the PSN or Steam, should not be charged for by Microsoft.
If you buy, say, BF3 on the PS3 or PC, you can play online without paying anything on top of the price of the game. If you buy BF3 on the 360, you need to pay for LIVE to play it.
As I brought up earlier, Microsoft doesn't actually host the games or own the servers. So what justifies them to charge you the money? To me, it seems like they're really just taking hostage a basic and key function to extract more money, when they're not hosting the servers that the games are actually played on (ignoring P2P games like CoD).
