i'm not sure i really know the definition of "indie" so don't shoot me if i got this wrong but i most think about the small scale developers (psn/xbl)

braid, flower, fat princess, echochrome, lost winds, world of goo, outland, and pixal junk eden.

..each of these were very impactful on me.

Me neither. So I just think about that, psn and xbl.

Fat Princess! I remember picking up her in PSASBR, playing over a friend's house. What is her game about? ò.O

while there is an offline way to play the game (play against bots), it is basically an online mulitplayer only game.

it's a game of capture the flag (where the flag is a fat princess).  you look from the top down and play the role of a: mage, warrior, archer, healer, or worker.  workers collect resources to help build up your base which either build up defenses or upgrades the other roles.  mages, warriors, and archers are your dps classes to attach your opponent with and healers...heal.  when someone dies they leave a hat behind.  you can at any time change roles but picking up the hat of the role you want to play as.

object is to raid the opponents base and capture their princess and get her back to your castle.  there is a heavy dose of humor in the game; there is a potion that allows you to turn your opponents into chickens for instance.  you can feed your princess cake to make her fatter (therefore harder for your opponent to steal).

later, they released a dlc to add to new classes.  pirates vs. ninjas.  it was awesome.

gameplay if very simple but there is also a ton of depth to play it well (and secret passages and other such minor details to discover per map).  the best way to win is to get a team with good co-operpation.  a couple dps with a good healer is unstoppable.

soo much fun.  i want a sequel.
