I do not see the PS4/Xbox following the same path as the wii-u in terms of gaming support. Companies have supported PS3/Xbox very well, and they are wanting to release on these new platforms. As the tech is more PC friendly, its quite obvious there will be less problems for Sony this time around for software products early in its life.
Wii-u is screwed for software support and will get some ports of games, but as the PS3/Xbox sales start to wane (which they already are) so will the amount of ports being made.
