In case you guys missed his play session, there were 2 awesome bits of news for PS and KZ fans.
The first is obvious but still important, and that's that the demo shown was in game. For anyone that remembers the KZ2 fiasco this is great news.
The second is they said near the end that it is launching along side PS4 so launch title confirmed. With the headset and sharing features on this console, this game could easily become one of Sony's biggest for next gen. What better to have with your new PS4 than a gorgeous shooter that you can have a blast with friends showing off all the social functions at the same time? Resistance got 4m sales largely as a product of being a launch shooter and it looked far less impressive than this to me (R3 was my favorite shooter this gen, but wasn't crazy about the first 2). This game will be bigger than that almost certainly because it's not launching with a $600 year late system (most likely not $600 anyway) and it already has an established fanbase but doesn't have a big number on the end to scare newcomers away. I think this could be huge for the franchise and the system.
