I don't see why they'd be in panic mode. It's not as if they're not also nine months away from a new console launch, just like Sony is. It's just they haven't talked about it like Sony has, so all we have to go on is speculation.
The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.
