That was based off of a prediction from IDC, which said the 77M was for the end of 2012, not the interview with Tretton, which would be for mid-late Febuary. In other words, given he said almost 77M (which could very well mean 76.5M) and the fact that many believe the PS3 was at ~75M at the end of 2012, it is very posible that Sony has shipped 1.5M so far this quarter. For this quarter last year they shipped 1.9M. In fact, they have never shipped less than 1.6M for their fourth quarter, with the average being 1.97M. Personally, I don't think it is enough to put them over the 360, but they will most likely cut the gap down to 100K-300K. Which they will most likely pass in the following quarter.
