I agree.
Seriously though, how creative a game is doesn't come from the hardware it's build on, but rather what the developers make the game out to be. Sure the Wii with motion controls and the WiiU with it's second screen can warrant some pretty cool stuff. But a lot of people, core and casuals alike, would still rather just use a simple controller. That's why they had the classic controller and the pro controller.
I really don't know what "revolution" you guys are talking about.
Sony made a machine with decent specs that's really easy to develop for. A gigantic aspect of the PS4 development process was about removing the barriers developers typically run into when creating games. It's now up to the developers to make the games, creative or not.
