Leaked specs dont mean much huh? Even if they pan out as rumored the PS3 was also more powerful then any of the other consoles. How much power does one need to last another 7 years? The current consoles were also low to mid range ( compared to PC ).. And yet they still have acceptable graphics. The problem lies in comparing a console to a PC... The console doesnt run an operating system that slows it down while the game is running.
Sony had better hope the PS4 isnt AGAIN the most expensive system - systems with "superior" components do cost more PERIOD. The smartest thing is to make it more powerful and still be balanced. This makes me doubt the PS4 will be anywhere near Wii U's price.
And 'Move' looks horrible.. How can that possibly compete with next gen 'Kinect' which would be much more responsive and handle more users completely handsfree...
Sony better hope this pans out after 4 straight years of losses and 5 billion in losses reported 6 months ago for the gaming division...Sony can DEFINATELY no longer afford to sell another console at a loss for a sustained amount of time..
Lastly, Sony basically has admitted CELL was a mistake. They ditched the original plans to use an updated CELL for PS4.. And have made a console thats basically a PC! It seems to me alot of PS3 fans made a big deal about the Xb360 essentially being a PC, huh? Now that Sony has said "yeah cell was not the best processor for developers" and they are making a PC.. All the Sony fans buy right into it.. And why? Because Sony is putting their name on it... Hahah
