I'm no pro in SSBM, but I really missed air dodging in all directions in SSBB. Also, I don't want to have to hack my game again to remove the random tripping...

In Melee or in Brawl? I'd say I'm pretty good in Melee (all 51 Event Matches in < 3h) and even better in Brawl (just played it longer than Melee). I'd guess my playtime in Melee is ~1000h, in Brawl ~1200h

i play mario in both but melee im a beast with mario, brawl i play several characters that im good with, hard to tell tbh. Melee still more competitive though!

My favorite character in both games is Marth. Not exactly good in Zoning, but his speed, range and generally awesome moveset more than make up for it!
