I just love how this approach supposedly is a bad thing. Microsoft has more first party developers than Sony. They will not forget about the games.

The difference here is Sony studios are working and putting out AAA Games the whole time. I still don't see Rare doing stuff for Microsoft...oh they do..they waste their potential on Kinect like most of the developers. Since 2008 Microsoft is relying on Halo,Gears and CoD.Of course it works but that is unique thing to the community and a lot of kid gamers who don't know there is something else(cause they never got something else) and want Military shooters.
For REAL Games of pure quality with a broad appeal and variety in genres over the whole Gen there is no way around the PS4. Doesn't matter if Microsoft is working on 6 new IPs lol...Sony already showed more on the event and we know every 1st,2nd and close 3rd Party Developer is working on Pre/Sequels and new IPs exclusive for Sony right NOW. And 3rd Party Multiplatdevs favor already now Sony...Bungie with Destiny for example aka the ones who are the reason Xbox is still around ;) The change in architecture with the PS4 is the most important thing here cause they get everyone on their boat.Even people like Carmack are now on the side of Sony after all that hate on the PS3.

Rare is hardly wasting their potential with Kinect. The new developers at Rare have already shown us that they cannot live up to their name with the old IP's, so instead of further shitting on their legacy (Nuts & Bolts comes to mind) they are making highly successful Kinect titles. They are making the best of the situation.
"Since 2008 Microsoft is relying on Halo,Gears and CoD."
And yet, that is enough to maintain their sales headstart over the PS3? Do you realize how bad you make PS3 sound with that statement? Especially considering that PS3 actually has Call of Duty titles. Also love how you're implying that ignorant kid gamers is a significant group keeping the console alive, as if they are unique to the Xbox 360.
"1st,2nd and close 3rd Party Developer is working on Pre/Sequels and new IPs exclusive for Sony right NOW."
Yeah, and since Microsoft haven't revealed any content for their upcoming console yet there is no way in hell that the very same thing is happening to them right NOW. And how do you know that third party developers favor PS3 over Xbox 3? As far as we know Microsoft might have an even bigger list of supporting third party titles ready to be announced.
