AMD Elaborates on PS4's Custom ''Jaguar'' APU

I was strictly tying the parts in the PS4 to current PC marts in terms of raw processing power. 

In terms of raw processing power all evidence points that CPU would be around a desktop i3 (not mobile) and GPU would be around 7850.

What ratings would you give these pieces of PC hardware in terms of power hirearchy?

Lol. the whole point of my argument was to avoid comparisons with CPU parts and now you asking me for a rating XD

In terms of powerhierarchy:

If the 8 jaguar cores really are equal to an i3 desktop cpu then 5 - 7 /10 depending on the task. Desktop i3's perform really well :)  id put the i5 at 7 - 8/10 and the higher end i7's at 9 and 10 respectively. obviously the AMD equivalents slot in where applicable.

I'd imagine the 8 jaguar cores would do better at multithreaded apps whereas the i3 would be better in single threaded apps. Further reason to not compare!

As for the 7850 id give it a solid 7/10.
