Although I'm all for Sony, I've been quite disappointed with how they've been marketing their products and their terrible press events, but after this PS4 event, with their openness as you've said, and having developers still back them up to this day, my faith is put back into Sony, and I feel as though they have a chance to redeem themselves after the many, many, failures of the ps3.
All of this, of course, is just my opinion.
Skyrim 100%'d. Dark Souls 100%'d.
Dark Souls > Skyrim.
Halo 4 is the best damn FPS since Halo 3.
