I don`t think you are making stuff up Danne, but i don`t think your source isn`t - not on purpose i mean.
According to devs on neogaf the whole memory was pretty much known to be at least 2GB, with a part dedicated to the OS. This was known well before E3 last year.
That companies didn`t have the final dev kits i`m sure that Nintendo was clear on this and as Iwata already went public to confirm the final dev kits were only sent out late last year (no specific date given) i don`t see why the big fuss now.

If Nintendo had an exclusive coming from Japan i just don`t believe Nintendo would say no to it. Most likely would be the company saying that and not Nintendo.
Big exclusive means big company and to those Nintendo has always been more open.
When you say a big exclusive to redeem a whole company you are talking about the lost Wii U exclusive?

As i said, i believe you and your friend, but was told to you makes no sense. What do you think by the way?

When I'm talking about Sony's e3 presentation I am in no way refering to anything Nintendo. No old Nintendo games will show up there as far as I know. All I can say is that it was a survival horror that Nintendo cancelled, and that now probably will be ported over to PS360.

Apparently Nintendo has done this before; given 3rd parties gimped dev kits, so it's nothing new. And 3rd parties was restricted to 732mb only 2 months before release, causing some trouble (just look at the 2nd post in this thread)

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
