Playstation 4 Blocking Used Games: "Up to the Publisher"

PS3 has the ability to tell if a disc has been played on another console or not. They could potentially include the same technology and publishers could do that check each time you boot the disc up.

Or other possibilities. I'm gonna call BS on this though, none of these companies are dumb enough to block used games forcing consol gamers to acceppt this as you have no choice.

First time I hear of this ability.

But if the ps3 had this ability without ever using it I don't see what have changed compared to the ps3?

 

The real topic maybe:as Nintendo and MS now also have blu ray and zhe ability the three may built a blocking game cartel(similar to phobos light bulb cartel) to force people to accept this as they would have no choice then.But that's very unlikelx.
