Didn't anybody learn the lesson this week? You over hype things and the reality will always fall short. You can and have every right to be excited, but make realistic predictions.

From my memory, every E3 from the past few years is a disappointment to everybody. Its not about who "won" but who "disappointed the least". Then again, we do have 2 new consoles to showcase, so I hope I am wrong here.

It's not a case of hyping, he's claiming he has legit info that these are happening, unless otherwise stated (last guardian). I don't believe him though, solely based on the PS4 price. Too good to be true.

my guesses though are

PS1 era: Spyro or Crash, duh

PS2 era: Kingdom Hearts

game that will redeem company(/Remake as stated in other thread): FF VII

Service: Steam

Xbox game: Gears

Spyro/Crash belong to Activision, and if they didnt show up in Battle Royale, I dont think they will be an exclusive for PS4, FF7 hopes still going? Tought people gave up on that. Valve doing the steambox contradicts PSN getting it.Gears? Possible and the only xbox exclusive worthy of a meltdown

Spyro/Crash: your counterpoint is a valid one, but in the other thread he did say something like 'a familiar face from the PS1 days', and with Sony and Activision getting comfy together with exclusive Destiny content I think it's a possiblity. I suppose...Syphon Filter is also from the PS1 days. But that's far less interesting.

When I hear 'redeem a company' I immediately think of Squeenix, it's a phrase used often about them, and always used in conjunction with a FFVII remake, (he also specified a game would be a remake in the other thread) so that's my reasoning.

Steam: I think valve recognize that breaking into the console arena will be difficult, so 'teaming up' let's say with one manufacturer would benefit them. They have the best relationship with Sony of the three existing players, and it was recently reported that Sony may allow players to compete with users using 'different hardware': http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=514046. I also can't think of any other 'online service' that would be very relevant or worthy of being called a megaton.

Gears: Yes, that's also my reasoning.
