PS3 77 million shipped confirmed?

It's not impossible! If shipments for October 2012 were close to zero, PS2 shipments for last quarter were super low and shipments so far this year have been excellent it won't require that much time-and-space tweaking to be true.

The PS2 shipped 4.1m in 2011

How many do you think it shipped in 2012?  just a guess will do.

 

 

Your guess is as good as mine. Clearly it was declining since Sony decided to discountue it. Maybe in the ballpark of 2.25-2.75 million between April and December. If it's at the low end of that than 76-77 million by now is quite believable, especially since Sony are projecting 2.9 million PS3 shipments this quarter.
