So the sales figures are way below expectations but that's ok because it isn't a console and can't be compared to the Dreamcast because it isn't a console and the DS sold more than anything last gen but it's ok because it isn't, as you said, a console.

Yeah, that's ok because it's not Sony's main system unlike the Dreamcast which was Sega's or the GameCube which was Nintendo's. On top of that, the Vita is still at full, launched a year ago and already sold almost 20% of the GameCube's LTD.

Which is below expectations. Revised expectations. Can't compare it to the GameCube remember? It isn't a console... After all.
