Definitely.
Jack is kind of like Sony's dancing bear, their version of Joe Biden, and he goes way overboard sometimes, but I agree with what he's saying here. The people watching those streams wanted to know about the PS4 as a gaming machine first, a multi-media box second.
I also don't think it's any coincidence at all that Sony's recovery with the PS3 had a lot to do with renewing their focus on gaming and making gamers feel like the Playstation brand's core audience. I just hope it continues.
