Everyone knows Sony's been copying Nintendo ever since they entered gaming. But recently, I've been reading the Chartz and I noticed something. It looks like Sony has changed their focus from Nintendo to a new source of material: Microsoft. Here are just three major things that Sony is stealing from Microsoft, along with my prediction at the end.

APPEARANCE.    Sony’s trying to change their entire look to be more like Microsoft. They’re trying to look more social and mainstream, traits which Microsoft invented. Take a look at their OS for the Playstation 4. Pay close attention to the sharp edges, the defined boxes, the color template, etc. Everything points to them copying Microsoft’s OS from Windows and Xbox. Sony is even including a share button on their controller to be more social and Kinect connect users, an idea likely stolen from Microsoft. Sony didn't just stop there. Sony is also trying to become more effective at marketting, a tactic they stole from Microsoft. Microsoft may not have invented marketting, but they made it mainstream.

TECHONOLOGY.     Let’s look at some of technology and features behind the PS4; 8GBs of RAM, an upgraded PSeye, Cross Game Chat, Blu Ray functionality, etc. These features are all ideas that Sony stole from Microsoft! Cross Game Chat was on the 360 first; Sony has no right to this feature. Also, the Nextbox has been long rumored to have 8GB of ram. Do you think it’s just a coincidence that Sony randomly announced that the PS4 would also have 8GB or RAM? And the upgraded PSeye is a shameless rip off of Kinect. It’s a rectangle just like Kinect. I never thought Sony would stoop so to start stealing shapes. Also, the new camera has more accurate depth perception and a greater range of view, just like Kinect.

DEVELOPERS.  Sony isn’t just copying Microsoft’s products; they’re also trying to outright steal Microsoft developers to make the most identical copies possible. As an example, Sony’s developer Evolution Studios is composed of many former developers of Project Gotham Racing. At the surface, this doesn't seem that bad, but look at their new game Driveclub. It looks just like PGR! I bet it plays like it too. They went after Microsoft’s biggest developer of all time, Bungie. For many years now, Bungie has worked happily alongside Microsoft. But now they're not only making Playstation games, but they're also giving it exclusive content. These are just two cases of Sony trying to get Microsoft's sweet talent on their console (a tactic they stole from Microsoft!)

Why Sony hasn't showed their console yet.     Yes Sony has said it’s still being designed. Guess why? Because they’re waiting for Microsoft to show their console. I predict that when Sony reveals their hardware, it will be an exact replica of Microsoft’s next gen console. I’d say this is a fairly safe prediction. If not an exact replica of the Microsoft's console, then it'll probably be a hybird between the Wii U and the Nextbox.

Sad but true.
