my question = how can a system have GDDR5 memory as the main RAM memory?

I mean GDDR stands for graphics memory ... not the main memory...and btw: Am I the only one who thinks that way ??? :/

Short story, GDDR is an improved DDR designed for applications needing large ammounts of bandwidth. Of course it has it's downsides but that's basically it... memory is memory after all.

well I guess for a system which is centered around the GPU (much like the wii u) it makes sense... thanks :)
