I don't mean to be a bitch, but that part is FMV, it transitions as he blacks out after the explosion, the image quality actually changes if you pay attention to it, I think it looks OK though, better than Capcom's fucking over bloomed shit.
PS: you can clearly tell the difference after he gets on the heli too, that part is a fixed angle that's only rendering certain parts while FMV is running in the background, it then transitions back to the gritty look again after he jumps down and is looking downwards, it's really different.

Actually, the visuals from that part are pretty consistent with the ones during the aircraft city fly-by part.

there is the start part, then there is the get on the heli part(my PS: part), it's an old PSX trick, good ol' FF7 style.

Until we have any kind of official confirmation, your claims are nothing but assumptions.
The kind of transition you see when he jumps to the aircraft is not unlike anything we've seen this gen when the game transitions from first person gameplay, to first person in-game cut-scene.

I'm actually just trying to say that they are awesome with all the mixture of things all meshed together to create the cool looking parts lol, it's nice.
