PROBLEM 1
Wrong.
I don't need to see a hunk of plastic to know it exists.

I think people are more wanting to see the hunk of plastic to be assured that what is being shown is running on the PS4 and not a super PC or something else. With the multiplats shown, for all we know they could have been some PS3 footage.
We have no idea, cause we didn't see a console.

Oh I wasn't aware that anyone believed that anything we saw was running on a PS4. If any game was they would have said so. Nope, it was all running on dev kits, which are just PCs with PS4 specs. The PS4 isn't ready yet. That's why the official tech specs have a disclaimer that they can change without notice.
The PS4 will run the games and probably runt hem better than we saw, but nothing today ran on a PS4.

I have no problem with it either, just some people would like to know.
the games could look better, the same or slighly worse. the problem is that we just don't know. By having it run on the system it eliviates that worry.
Heck you guys remember years past when at E3 microsoft or someong might have gotten caught showing a demo that was ran on the ps3 or a trailer that was the ps3 version, ect. Those things cause a HUGE fuss. Even though in some of those cases the 360 version ended up being the superior version.
