Graphically, it will rival the HD 6950. I am kinda disappointed with the news that its graphical output is 2 Teraflops. For instance, the HD 6950 is at 2.25 TF, and the old HD 5870 is at 2.75 TF. Not sure if it's the graphical leap we were all expecting. The x86, 8 core made sense, as well as the 8GB GDDR5 memory to allow any future features to come when they are developed. No limitations. They did well on this. Just very skeptical on the GPU.

There is no comparison with HD 6000... it's a GCN or GCN2 GPU... so the power is between HD 7850 and HD 7870... it's the exactly GPU if you get the HD 7970M and disable 2 CUs.

Now imagine this GPU (HD7850-HD7870) in a console... hardware optimization, close to metal, some aux units to help in specifcs tasks, better memory brandwidth than HD7850-HD7870, 8 GB...

I can say for sure this console will show on pair or even more power than any PC with HD 7970/GTX 680 found in the market.
