PS4 GPU have 18 CUs... GCN or GCN2... why? because the offical specs says '"GPU : 1.84 TFLOPS, AMD next-generation Radeon™ based"... next-generation is GCN2 to be released in Q3 2013 but for comparison pourpose I will use GCN cores...

PS4: 18 CUs @ 800Mhz (1.84 TFLOPS)

HD 7850: 16 CUs @ 860Mhz (1.76 TFLOPS)
HD 7870: 20 CUs @ 1000Mhz (2.56 TFLOPS)
HD 7970M: 20 CUs @ 850Mhz (2.17 TFLOS)

So the PS4's is between HD 7850 and HD 7870... it's like a HD 7970M (mobile edition) with two CUs disabled.

Not sure what you reply has got to do with my intial post?
