I thought it started out brilliantly. Great specs, I liked the Gaikai stuff like the instant demos for all games and improved remote play, loved the share button features. All the integration between services/platforms and social features sound awesome. New controller seems like a good improvement over DS3, though I'm not sure what to make of the touchpad. Simple to develop for.
Then we saw the games. Graphically they were all very beautiful, but nothing blew me away. The watch_dogs demo was cool, I liked KZ's setting and art-style, but there was nothing spectacular. Too many shooters and too much sci-fi. Where's that diversity Sony are known for? Hardly anything noteworthy really. A lot of promising tech but that's it... so very underwhelming on the software side. That said, this is definitely the tip of the iceberg as far as games are concerned so I'm not worried at all.
