Those look like nice, reasonable improvements, especially allowing people to be further apart when they flail around.
Still, there'd better be more, something new that will capture interest, because I don't think just a "new and improved" Kinect is going to attract a great many people. The market got over the last one really fast. The projector display thing would be good for that; does this mean that isn't part of the 'Kinect' branding? Hm.
