What about the $100 - 120 a year for Netflix or Hulu? This looks to offer a selection of games for streaming, while bringing the discounts, and free monthly games that PS+ already offers. This is one thing that has always pissed me off about consumers and Sony. Before the convergence of technology became common, Sony would put out a $800 device that delivered the full pallet. Then consumers would go out, and buy a handful of less capable devices that totaled up to $1,500, and delivered their content in worse quality. Now that the tech has become a harder race, Sony has tried to position themselves as the best content providers. They set very reasonable prices, and even offer up competitive content providers if consumers are not happy with their offerings. Yet again consumers will be willing to pay double or more to avoid going though Sony in any way or form. It just blows my mind. |
yeah people just need to learn to see value and hidden costs. It's just like how people who only want to play COD will buy 360s because its cheaper. They don't realize that they'll have to pay $60 to play online so it's already more expensive. If you bought one at launch it's already cost you about $700 to buy your 360 and play online all those years. PSN+ has given me loads of content that I've enjoyed, like hundreds of dollars worth so I have no concern that Sony will give you plenty of value with this package.
