According to Wada's tweet, "There's someone making a false rumor that Versus was cancelled. Haha...Just a minute ago, the regular Versus meeting ended. If you saw the presentation of the city, it'd knock you off your feet~lol"

I probably should put those links into the OP.

All these show is that Versus is still in development, and Square has a habit of releasing games on consoles near or even well after their predecessors have launched, and their games are usually big enough to get away with it.

Key examples being Final Fantasy XII and Dragon Quest X.  They could very well be planning to launch Versus on ps3 after ps4 has been released, though it's looking like Lightning Returns will fall into that window, so they could also decide otherwise.

I hope for ps4.  If it's coming no sooner than 2014, then fuck yeah I'll want it on ps4 instead of ps3.
