I think the Vita has a real good shot at outselling the Wii U after the 28th. Unless Nintendo does a price cut soon, Wii U is going to fall even lower in Feb. Sony is confronting the usual downtick in sales after Jan with a price cut. Actually, considering the US usually sells for cheaper in Japan, and the new Vita price is ~$200 in Japan, I wouldn't be surprised if the new Vita price in the US is ~$179.99. So, around $10 more than the 3DS. That may be too irresistible for some.

Edit: I also see a Black Friday bundle for $149.99 w/ a game and memory card, so that should help sales for the Vita, as well.
