If they weren't going to take priority of this title, then they should have never accepted the job. This isn't the first time the game has been delayed either. They gave priority to their own titles, games like Borderlands, Duke Nukem Forever, and Borderlands 2 while Colonial Marines was nothing more than an afterthought. Gearbox has cost Sega a lot of money. The original release date was to be 2009, but it's instead four years later. If the game did well at that time, Sega could potentially have put out one or two more of these.
It won't do anything for the fans, but I think Sega should file a lawsuit against Gearbox.
