I'm glad there's an obvious winner in site. I'd planned on buying a ps3 when it was clear bluray was the way to go so now I can without worrying it was the wrong choice.
Though I still think that bluray is going to be relatively niche for the forseable future. I went to my local blockbuster a few days ago and they had half a shelf of bluray and half a shelf of hd-dvd...compared to probably 50-100 shelves of dvd's.
Hopefully now that there's a clear choice that will change and they'll start buying blurays...
