To be fair, all eyes are on Sony now. Maybe they decided to move any vita announcement before hand to make way for more PS4 stuff they want to show. If they have vita stuff the should talk about it before because it will get lost in all the PS4 hype. I think it's a good move.

I agree, the Vita needs a facelift. Sony is doing the right thing by having a seperate event concentrating on the Vita. As one can see through the Media Create sales, 3DS is gaining momentum rapidly, 10 million in less than 2 years is no feat to laugh at and with Pokémon, Monster Hunter 4, Mario coming this year, it will only increase. Sony needs to act or their market share in the handheld business will continually decline. I'm excited.
