It is psychological. You know, pretending something isn't happening because it upsets you.
Funny that anything negative about Sony some people are the first to know.
PS4 made the top sellings UK newspapers on Feb 1st when Sony made the announcement and made them again yesterday with the prototype controller.
The UK knows, like everyone else.
OT: I really don't know the reason for this sudden surge in PS3 sales in the UK. It will never catch the x360 but any boosts in sales for the PS brand bodes well for the future PS4 in the UK.
To be honest it couldn't happen at a better time (maybe it could have, but it didn't) than when any type of momentum is useful for a brand looking to promote a new console over the coming months.
