If that were the case, it would have made sense for them to scrap the PS3/360 versions entirely. It would have gotten yet more hype as a Wii U exclusive (even if sacrificing sales potentially) could've become a cult-hit and gotten an up-port with a lot of positive press like RE:Revelations in the future.
Now, on the other hand, the horrendous word-of-mouth about the PS360 version will leave the Wii U game deader than dead in the water.
