The Vita patent photo taken from Sony's website last week is what started the rumor: http://www.patentbolt.com/2013/02/new-sony-patent-reveals-new-ports-coming-to-ps-vita.html The patent looks legit but we can only speculate if it's going to be mentioned at all come the 20th.

Edit: we know the new Vita and mostly likely a price drop is going to be announced. it's just a matter of when

yeah it would be nice if they do but I'm going in not expecting it. In addition that SCEE guy (forgot his name) teased that they had some surprises prepared for the one year anniversary of the vita in the west..so it could definitely happen. 

On the ps4 side if they DON'T impliment a anti used measure in the system it would be absolute ace. Fingers crossed for that one

@Irstupid: I really don't see why they need to release pricing and release date info at this event..it definitely won't be a 'fail' to not hear those info. If the launch is post E3/GC/TGS (and it most likely will) they will use those events for those information. This event if it follows previous events will be about the system, capabilities, some games and publishing partners info
