I wouldn't look at the graphics of current consoles as what needs to improve. But rather the size/scope of games.

I guess what I'm saying is that it's not the graphics comparision of Crysis 3 on PC vs current Consoles. But the size of BF3 on PC (64) compared to current Consoles (24). That's what I expect the next Consoles to do. Allow developers to create much bigger games I guess. Not sure how to explain it lol

So, what would you not get if the game in question on the current technology were MMOs?  Sony has the likes of Free Realm on the PS3, and that is fairly large.  What I would have to ask is: Why wouldn't developers who want larger games, not stick them in MMO format?  And also, is the likes of Skyrim too small?

Skyrim is pretty empty...Its just a big landscape with nothing on it.
The modded version on the other side is an other thing...

A lot more detail and ingame you have tons of new monsters and all those things that make the game realy lively.Search for "100 Mods Skyrim" on google.
The "standard" Version is total crap and you can see Bethesda had limitations thanks to the consoles and didn't put effort in the PC Version.
In the NextGen we won't see graphics like that probably...or at least very late in the Gen.
The Next step will probably be to be able to run the Battlefield 3 PC Version with High Settings with 64 Players. It will be interesting to see if they could run
Ultra Settings or lets say...Battlefield 4 that will already use a better version of the FB2 Engine.

And a MMO Format isn't needed - You can create big open worlds for singleplayer or big maps for Multiplayer with insane graphics right now.But on current consoles they are empty or don't look realistic or good at all if you compare them to PC.On PC they do.

Look at that

You can see how far advanced this is compared to everything we have seen right now.
Imagine a GTA in a World 1:1 in the size of a real city with such graphics and millions of real looking people...Could be possible with ease right now - Just sit together with google and do something.
Will be interesting how much effort they will put in the NextGen games especialy the Open World Games.
More people should be aware of how much Call of Duty and such stuff is holding us back.Activision gets money for a low quality no effort game with maps that are smaller than a doghouse while other developers who would love to do something like that and push the industry forward are fighting to survive.
If they would know a Skyrim or GTA could look like that they wouldn't buy GTA5 cause for example GTA4 already looks modded far superior to GTA5 Console.
