Why separate it?  Why not just have it as another level to Playstation Plus for PS4 owners?  

Because then you would need one to have the other.  Some people may just want gaikai so let them have it for less than the price of both but incentivize people to get both with the bundle discount (some don't want Sony to pick their games no matter how awesome plus is)

Yeah, I'd prefer having the two separate myself.

How about for the same price it is going for now?  That was my idea.  Keep it at $50, but add this to it.
