i think my point of view of what gaming is, is a bit more narrowed than yours, IMO gaming is controlling a video displayed element and with it interact with others or/and accomplish a goal/objective. the other way around, where you do a activity and some electronic device follow your activity is hard to define as gaming. But yes, that activity can gain massively with the use of those devices to make it more fun, etc. and of course gaming company can reach more people trough those interactions and put their devices into more use and focus to a non gaming audience. if the image was about wii fit i would agree that is gaming, because you move your body to control the video element, but this one i kind of disagree.
